I have tried several combinations.
The problem is independend of the settings of the quality and the geometry
factor.
If the decimation is changed to something other than "1" the recording is fine.

Recording an AVI with decimation of "1" is possible.

The problem is connected to quicktime and a decimation factor of "1" only.

I started with the SuSE 9.2 standard kernel and tools.
Unfortunately quicktime is not supported by the mjpegtools SuSE supplies
as standard. One has to grab a replacement package or compile its one.

Exactly that is where I started, because libquicktime 0.9.3 is provided by SuSE.
But the problem remained.

So I did.
But the problem still exists.

Yup.
The CVS version of driver_zoran 0.9.5 is in use at the moment.
The driver is compiled as loadable module.

kernel: Zoran MJPEG board driver version 0.9.5
kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:0f.0[A] -> GSI 5 (level, low) -> IRQ 5

As mentioned before, the problem is connected to quicktime and
a decimation factor of "1" only.
The solution mentioned in this list is to use the latest driver
(thread: Quicktime full-res bug status? from 2005-02-09).

But that doesnīt seem to fix the problem.

Any ideas ?

Kind regards
