Thanks for the quick reply. I am getting plenty of heat out of the heater. I
am going to try and bleed the air out of the system now and will also check
the upper hose for circulation. Let you know what happens in about 35 mins.

If the heater is not blowing hot sounds like there is a lack of
circulation, maybe. Could be the water pump has seized. With the
engine up to operating temps, can you feel a "surge" if you squeeze
off the upper rad hose? (careful it will be hot) You should feel the
pressure build up and maybe hear the engine idle sound different. If it
does, at least you know water is circulating.
