Funny about those 15" BBS wheels. I have a receipt from the
original owner of my '91 GTi from when he traded back the dealer the 15" rims
and tires for some 14" teardrops shortly after he bought the car. Trouble is,
the 205-55 Pirelli P600's he has on there are just about gone, and noone
makes
that size in a street tire anymore. Guess I'll have to resort to the stock
size (185-60) unless anyone's got a plus size they've been successful
 with?

I had to modify the trim on an 88 golf to get a blaupunkt cd unit to fit.
But I fit a JVC cd into my GLI with no modification at all.
