<x-rich>Many of the listers (myself included) run the Dunlop SP8000s on our 14"
rims. They're available in a 195-55. And while someone recently
reported that his SP8000s were chunking up on him, I've had no problems
with mine (and that includes a track day of over 120 minutes).

<excerpt><smaller>Funny about those 15" BBS wheels. I have a receipt
from the original owner of my '91 GTi from when he traded back the
dealer the 15" rims and tires for some 14" teardrops shortly after he
bought the car. Trouble is, the 205-55 Pirelli P600's he has on there
are just about gone, and noone makes that size in a street tire
anymore. Guess I'll have to resort to the stock size (185-60) unless
anyone's got a plus size they've been successful with?

<fontfamily><param>Arial</param><smaller>Well,

I need to ditch the 15" BBS from the GLI. Last year it was 3 bent rims
and this year we are already working on fixing our 2nd. So I am going
to the j-yard to pick up a set of 14" bottle cap type alloys.

Here's the question. Do the 14" wheels with the 4 lugs have the same
bolt pattern spacing as the 15"?

Would just like to be sure before picking them up!

Thanks

Neil
