Not in NYC. I got two tickets the next day. Ten minutes apart! When I
went to the judge a week later with my inspection he dismissed one as a
duplicate but made me pay $35 of the other one because it had been over 7
days since my inspection expired. Duh I had it in the garage until I had
time the following weekend to get it inspected. But he wasn't hearing it.
