In what communist state do you reside?  I've had Euro-spec lights in my GTi
for nearly 10 years without any headaches.  I've had the Euro-spec lights in
my M5 for 4 years and have only encountered one idiot inspector who insisted
on aiming the damn things at the ground to satisfy himself (and most likely
VA's stupid lighting) rules.  I seriously doubt that you'll run into any
problems.
