Hrm... I wonder why so many guys are breaking these? Are you guys all doing full-throttle slam shifts? I have never broken a Sachs clutch, and I use them on the Porsche's too, where they have 2 times the HP going to them, with RWD grip, maybe you guys need to be more gentle on your shifts? *flame suit on*....

Mine broke one of those thin tabs that is rivited near to the od of the plate after about 500-800 miles. I spoke with another guy who said that they had a batch of mis heat treated pressure plate parts and he got his warrantied. For some reason Potterman wouldn't check to see if mine was warranty. Anyway, I purchased a Stage III Kevlar clutch kit from Holland > at ND. Set me back a fortune and the chattering is finally starting to subside after about 1500 miles - but it hasn't broke on me! BUT I BET THEY WOULDN'T HAVE BROKE WITH STOCK HORSEPOWER. > > Clay > > Date: Sun, 1 Jul 2001 21:18:25 EDT > From: [email protected] > Subject: > > Barely 13K miles on this pressure plate, and bam!
