Oh, they break with stock horsepower... you just have to shift into third, from redline in 4th gear. Yeah, good times. I had the same problem, broke one of the little fingers that holds the pressure plate together. If it's a stock vehicle, don't bother with a HD pressure plate... for that exact reason.
