I installed that Missinglinkz shifter in my MKI. I will buy one for my MKII
shortly. It's very tunable and ajustable in almost every direction. Really
tightens up the action.
Its one of the best aftermarket upgrades you can do for your car. It truly
is an upgrade compared to the factory setup. Makes my shifter smooth and
precise as a winchester bolt action rifle.
(Sounds like it too!)

91 GTI 16V w/169K, daily driver, looks good, runs great. Finished the 9.4"
to 10.1" front brake upgrade. Working on the F/R brake balance (too much
front right now). Just installed a MissingLinkZ shift upgrade kit this
weekend (recommended). Enough work put in over the years to make it
reliable, still learning, still buying parts for upgrades.
