I remember that in the bentley (the O2 testing section) it states that if
the DPR current is pinned at 10.2mA either the DPR or the ECU is shot (if
you know that the O2 sensor is good and it's not causing the symptom). But
that was for the CIS-E so I am not sure if the same holds for Motronic.

Cam chain timing is good (have 30 pics of it)
timing belt good
cleaned up and matched all 4 injectors cis-e
changed motronic diaphragm regulator for a cis-e one (had gotten them
mixed up)
went back to old O2 sensor(one heater wire had fallen off so wired it as a
one wire- black to green-(is this
OK)
went back to original O2 module
reset the airflow sensor(all the popping pushed it back a little)
replaced a bad cold start valve
coolant temp measures OK

same as before, hesitates and pops under sudden acceleration takes a
couple of seconds(@ least) to get past
2500rpm
idles great, past 3k rpm revs normally
after a while DPR signal settles @10.2mA then doesn't move
can't get DPR less than 10.2 no matter how much I enrichen

my guess is that pressure in the fuel distributor is too high, too much
fuel is sent mechanically and the O2
sensor tries to lean it out- when I started messing with the DPR settings
it was +-18mA

I have no way of testing fuel pressure. I'm thinking of changing out the
diaphragm pressure regulator,
Bentley says that a clogged return line is the only other reason for high
FD pressure.

Any thoughts, I'm usually way off.

Need help, wife hates me and the car...
