It's easy, but very fiddly. It took me about 10 minutes to take mine off a 
couple of weeks ago, but it had been fitted only three years before with 
stainless nuts and bolts. There are mo short cuts, no space to get an angle 
grinder in. Easier with the car on stands and maybe front wheels off. Maybe jet 
wash underneath first to clear all the accumulated crud.

Seconded. 

On my 4/4 less work and a one man job. Cowl removal needs the bonnet removed 
and that although quick, is a two man job.

How hard is it to remove a cowl on a Plus 4? I have a alloy radiator to 
install and it seems that with no cowl, the radiator could be dropped right 
in.
