Ebay doesn't give a hoot about anything but their bottom line
Now that they see themselves falling out of favor - financially -
they're trying to make all sorts of "improvements"
ebay is finished in the format of expectation, and what I say to
people is that eBay is going to be a retail marketplace in the
future, and the auction format on eBay is going to be a tiny fraction
of listings in the future
if they were really serious about making the site better, they should
do things like making sure that all items are listed in their proper
categories, eliminate repros in the "originals" categories. remove
magnets, publications, reprint photos and the like from places they
don't belong and which are a real turnoff for people trying to wade
through all the garbage trying to find what you want
the problem is that the powers that be at eBay are only focused on
themselves, andthey aren't ebay customers
