JR, you are correct... unlike ALICE IN WONDERLAND, which Burton
converted to 3-D, AVATAR was NOT converted from one to the other.
Cameron used the PACE Fusion 3-D camera system to film in 3D
initially. The film was also printed in both 35mm and 70mm, as well
as D-Cinema for the 3-D versions ( as well as a 2-D format for those
markets unable to project the 3-D version).
