I only know about election fraud from news reports, many about Acorn which is
apparently encouraging false voter registration in several states. The purpose
must be to affect the outcome of the election. Otherwise, why make the effort?
In any case, false registration is a violation of law.

dmb says:
The notion that ACORN is perpetrating a fraud isn't asserted in the in news
reports so much as the McCain campaign and McCain himself. The reports I've
heard, seen and read usually explain that the fraud is being committed AGAINST
acorn, not by it. They end up paying good money for bogus names. In fact,
they're the ones that reported it to the legal authorities.

Did you see the reports about what happened to acorn after McCain's accusations
in the last debate? He'd said acorn was about to "destroy the fabric of our
democracy" and the very next day branch offices across the nation were flooded
with angry e-mails, many of which included racist slurs and threats of
violence. In a few cases offices were vandalized and death threats were issued.

If acorn's job is to help voters register to vote and McCain is deliberately
trying to discredit them for no legitimate reason, the who really threatens the
fabric of democracy?

Oh, and did you hear the report about the Montana Republicans' effort to
SUPPRESS votes? The judge pointed out that the voter suppression efforts there
in Montana fit a nation wide pattern of behavior by Republicans and that this
pattern made it impossible to believe that the busted Republican operative had
any sincere interest in rooting out any real problems. Like her, I think it's
completely obvious that these party loyalists have very little respect for
democracy, if any.

Don't take my word for it. Surf the net. Any reasonable person can see this
pattern too.

Country first, my ass.
