I have now looked at this and I have been able to update the Visual
Studio 2010 build for the tune, speed and try projects, which should now
work on Windows x64 (there is no support for these projects on win32 in
VS2010 and VS 2012).

The revised build projects are in my repository at:

https://github.com/BrianGladman/mpir

Unless anyone else is willing to do it, I'm afraid that I won't be able
to provide support for buillding MPIR with Visual Studio 2010 after this
release.
