With the fervent hope that Barbara will not poison my Jucy Lucy today, I must decry her call for any public financing for any professional sports organizations whatsoever. But, we in St. Paul will turn over the fight to Minneapolitans and Hennepin County denizens with pleasure.
The only appropriate public expenditure for a sports facility would be its required infrastructure - and even then the public should be compensated for it by the massive profits pro sports reel in from their operations. Love ya, Barbara, but this pro sports stuff is insane.
