Regarding 1), that's really just about the instruments.xml, right? Adding
an entry for "Violins", using the existing "Strings" sound? Probably
"Violas", "Violoncellos", and "Contrabasses" as well, all using the same
"Strings" sound because GM doesn't define anything better.
