I agree with most of what is being said here... but for me MSX can go in
one of two ways to be successfull...

1) To have amazing graphics and sound - just like when MSX was first
released - the other big computer was the PC with CGA and the speaker, and
it was much more expensive than the MSX

2) (the one I prefer) To built up a new MSX as a handheld computer or
inside a cell phone - with a very good color screen - with the same
capabilities than the current MSX (which will totally blow away the
competition) and to allow to upload programs/files between the new MSX and
PCs so you can store the well-known games and programs as long as new ones
in your PC and just use some of them inside the actual MSX - the others you
could just use in the emulator.

I totally agree that a new 8-bit MSX would not sell (it WILL sell for ppl
who KNOWS MSX). Even if it will be cheaper as hell - I can build an P-100
with internet access (and for this reason it is more than enouth) for
US$250,00 (including monitor!) - which ppl will no doubt prefer since they
know windows and can make upgrades real easy - not the same case as a new
MSX machine.

Well, that's only my oppinion...
