Meeting Date:

        7/20/06 11:00 a.m. EDT

Attendees:

        Andrew Eberbach
        Joel Hawkins
        Dan Jemiolo
        Mark Weitzel

Topics:

        1. Review progress on open items for 2.0.0 M2.

News & Decisions:

        0. Dan has emailed Dims about committer accounts for Joel and
Andrew now that vote has been open 4 days. In the meantime, everyone knows
their assignments. :)

        1. MUSE-25 (persistence) - has an updated use case/design in JIRA.
Dan is working on this and will complete it by next Tuesday

        2. MUSE-32 (JAX-WS) - Balan Subramanian has offered to complete
this, and will have done so by next Monday.

        3. MUSE-33 (error messages) - Dan will work on this after Tuesday,
assuming all other work goes smoothly.

        4. MUSE-37 (ReflectionUtils update for OSGi) - Joel has submitted
a patch. Dan didn't get the notification, will apply patch a.s.a.p.

        5. MUSE-38 (OSGi support) - Joel is finishing Axis2/OSGi
integration and will add code to JIRA by next Monday.

        6. Andrew continues to improve code generation tooling, with OSGi
support being next on the list (after next Monday's drop).

        7. Joel has written a SOAP handler/service that is generic to OSGi
and required for Muse applications to run on OSGi. We will include it in
Muse M2 but ultimately it should reside in an OSGi project such as Eclipse
(Equinox). Mark and Joel will start this contribution request with the
Equinox team.

Action Items:

        1. We all have coding deadlines - heads down!

        2. Mark and Joel will email Equinox leader(s) to offer SOAP
handler contribution.

        3. Dan will try to set up nightly builds in between MUSE-25 and
MUSE-33.

If you have any questions or clarifications about these minutes, please
send them along!

Thanks,
Dan
