Attendees:

Topics:
1. Release date for 2.0, code freeze date, and confirmation of new
content. (15 min)
2. Review OSGi additions that will be included in M2. (15 min)
3. Review Dan's proposal on MUSE-33. (5 min)
4. Any remaining issues for M2. (10 min)
5. Responsibilities before code freeze. (10 min)
News & Decisions:
1. Andrew is an official committer - huzzah! Joel is working with
his management team today to finish up any remaining legal/admin items for
his own committer access.
2. Team approved new release schedule that allows more time for
documentation:
a. Code freeze - 9/1/06 - all high priority fixes must be
in by this day. A release-candidate distribution will be built and left
unmodified except for non-JavaDoc documentation (user guide, etc.).
b. Release vote - 9/18/06 - ask committers and web
services PMC to vote on a 2.0.0 release.
c. Release - 9/22/06 - announce availability of 2.0.0
Final.
3. Team approved of proposal for MUSE-33. Joel added that we could
reuse the proposed tool for each release to ensure that additions or
changes did not leave properties files out of synch.
4. Andrew will be committing a few changes related to
WSDL2Java/tooling by end of business day (EDT). He will then generate the
bin/src distribution files for M2.
a. Dan will take those files and manually add the JAX-WS
module, since it requires manual compilation against a JAR file not
available in ibiblio. He will then sign the files for release.
5. Dan will take the signed distribution files and put them online
late tonight. He will also publish the web site updates and send a note to
muse-dev.
6. Dan and Joel discussed his OSGi sample, and clarified how the
contribution fit together so Dan can add it to SVN and the distribution.
Action Items:
1. Dan and Andrew will work together to make sure all i's are
dotted and t's crossed and get the milestone build out by tomorrow
morning.
If you have any questions or clarifications about these minutes, please
send them along!
Thanks,
Dan
