        2. Review processes that still need to be completed for cutting
the release.

News & Decisions:

        2. Dan reviewed the set of PMC and Apache approvals needed, as
well as the distribution of binaries.

        3. Team agreed to a 2.1.0 release with the following
considerations:

                a. Any new features would need to be voted on and approved
by Thurs., Sept. 28th. After this date, no patches for new features will
be accepted. Team agreed to be conservative in voting to approve new
features.

                b. Bug fixes will be accepted until code freeze.

                        i. Team must be diligent in categorizing 'bugs' as
issues with existing code and not requiring the creation of new code.

                c. Code freeze will be Friday, Nov. 10th.

                d. Release will be Friday, Dec. 1st.

will be added to the 2.1 release.

the Axis2 1.1 WAR.

        2. Dan will send out the VOTE email on Monday.

If you have any questions or clarifications about these minutes, please
send them along!

Thanks,
Dan
