I kinda do object, though it's not a strong objection. Rationale:
/etc/mailname is a debianism--part of no other standard AFAIK. It's
also completely unnecessary: Mutt already has ways to set this.
If it supported every random platform-specific configuration mechanism
vaguely related to e-mail, Mutt would become a steaming pile of...
spaaghetti code. =8^)
