I understand your point, Derek, especially since your commits cleaned up
this part of the code.
What if we made a configuration option, something like {{{--with-
mailname=}}}? Then, Debian could set it to '/etc/mailname' when compiling
their package, while allowing others to set it to something else, or keep
it off entirely (the default). Would that make you happier? :-)
The question would then be whether {{{--with-domain=}}} should have higher
or lower priority.
