Try nullmailer by Bruce Guenter: http://www.em.ca/~bruceg/nullmailer/ It looks like a full MTA to programs that use it, but it relays everything to (one of a set of) smart hosts/relays you specify -- typically your ISP or your company mailhost. It works well, and has a great design behind it.
