Hi there,

I'm just setting up my MVP to run mvpmc, and am having some trouble
with VLC streaming. Mvpmc connects to the remote VLC fine over the
telnet interface and plays the file, however the file is appearing
squashed.

I have a 16:9 PAL CRT TV, and have set the TV-mode to 16:9 and PAL in
mvpmc. I'm running vlc on the server as:

"vlc -I Telnet --sout-transcode-fps 25.0000
--sout-transcode-canvas-width=720 --sout-transcode-canvas-height=576"

The output on the television is squashed, in that people appear too
wide (fat). In other words, an image which should be 16:9 and fill
the screen, actually has black bars top and bottom. Now I'm guessing
I just need to fix my VLC command-line, but I'm not quite sure how.

Someone must have got this working right? So could anyone in PAL-land
and with a 16:9 TV possible post their VLC commandline? Thanks,

James
