Excellent - thanks for the help.  I'll try this out once I have my
server box back up and running (motherboard failure unfortunately).

So does mvpmc handle setting vlc parameters appropriately for PAL/NTSC
as well as getting the AR right?

More generally, how stable do the nightlies tend to be?  Is a "last
known good" version maintained anywhere?
