Well, as always this is as much a learning experience as it is a 
personal wants / needs thing.  To that end what I hope is to find the 
reason for the mvpmc box reboot and call it a day (some time over the 
next week as this week end is booked).  Maybe, at a later date, I'll 
look into using the different protocols necessary to "look like" a newer 
client.

I must be missing the beginning of this thread.  I'll have a look to see 
if my home computer is sorting email behind my back.  But to guess at 
your original post - were you looking for a way to create Squeeze Center 
play lists at the mvpmc client?
