I will say that my own interest in a new MClient is not quite as pronounced now that I figured out how to drive my v7.5.4 Squeezebox Server from MVPMC using M3U playlists. The current MClient is rock solid as a player and displays streamed song title with the screen saver. Sure, it would be nice to navigate the SBS front end, but considering that I always end up using Random Play->Song, the key for me was figuring out the magic HTTP link I could embed in an M3U file. This technique works great on other platforms, too. I can do the same trick with my Palm TX and a crusty slow laptop and draft all this stuff I have laying around into music duty.
