Hi!

Jeremy Zawodny did already answer this email, but I have a couple of
additions to his answer.

You are right that the dispute with NuSphere is harming MySQL AB, but
we have taken steps to ensure that this is not affecting the
development of MySQL.

Here at MySQL AB, we have during the last 6 months, grown from 16 to
more than 30 persons and done an internal re-construction of the
company to not only be able to do development more rapidly in the
future, but also be able to offer MySQL training and consulting for
those that need this.

MySQL AB is and will continue to be an open source company. We are as
committed as before to work on extending and improving MySQL.

One problem we have had during the last months of growth is that I
have had to personally spend a lot of time handling business issues
and I have not had as much time as I had wanted on coding. Now we have
finally got the people on place that can handle the business issues so
that I can get back to coding full time.

My humble opinion is that MySQL is and will continue to be a vise choice
for developers.

Regards,
Monty
