Alexa's a horrible measure, especially for sites that are dominated by non-Internet Explorer users since the Alexa features in all other browsers don't do the live updating of stats that those values reflect. I use Mozilla on my Windows machines, for example, so none of my hits will count on yours or Slashdot's sites.

But this has nothing to do with SQL or QUERYs. :)
