Becky Go with a waterless pedicure or dry pedicure!!!!!!!!!!!!! You won't be sorry. I just converted because I have gone mobile. It's so much easier. No disinfecting a pedi tub. A gallon of water will last a very long time. Check it out. You will be amazed. My clients say they prefer it now. Go figure.

I know this post is an older one, but I am looking into a pedicure set up again. I need your advice and suggestions. I did search the list for Footsie baths, Belava and Brookstone - the Brookstone looks great, but the reviews aren't so good...... How does this tub empty? I have a HUGE rolling spa pedicure tub with jets and the whole thing (European Touch I believe) and it's just too much. I have to roll the unit clear to a back room (I am in a fitness center) through the exercise area, and drain it, sanitize it, etc.. it's taking me 2 hrs to have a pedicure on my book. I want a simple solution but the Brookstone seems like it might have the same challenges? I am also looking for a good COMFY chair, no massage, just something they can relax in - I'm hoping my fellow techs will chime in and give me lots of great advice like always :) I'd also love your suggestions for the best pedicure products right now (a wonderful SMELL is very important!) Have a good one! It was alright. Not super comfortable for the client or anything, but it got the job done. The way I do pedicures, it was awkward to have to keep flopping the leg holder thing around, but I suppose that would depend on your procedure. I always wanted to be able to put both of the clients legs up when I was done with the foot bath!! IMO, footsie baths are convienient for the liner, but they suck. The water doesn't stay warm, the bottom gets too hot if you try to keep the water warm, and I like jets. I use the footbath from Brookstone that is $99... has jets and is easy to sanitize. I used both the footsie bath and brookstone bath in the chair you are looking at... the brookstone bath worked just fine on the platform. Glad to see you're almost up and runnin' again!!! Good luck!!! The kind that is the chair and a foot rest and has a place for the footbath...not a spa chair...how did/do you like it? Pros...cons.... My hubby does not want me to charge a spa chair...he would rather me pay cash for it...and I keep telling him it is a vicious circle...pedis bring in money and if i don't have a setup then I can't do them.....I think this is a good compromise...I found a "brand new" one that i can get for 225.00 (cheapest i have found online was 399. with 85.00 S+H) the 225.00 I can pick up in the city so no s+h charge either.... Now I need to know about foot baths...is the footsie one still the best? Or so it seems...you guys are always talking about it....I think. :) I can't do just a footbath on the floor...not good for the client to put foot in my lap...uncomfortable...and I can NOT get down on the floor anymore..well not easily anyway! help I need your opinions....
