Thank you! I will do the same!

Terri,

I am a sculpting snob! Old school people usually are :-) It depends on what
technique you are used to and what technique you've worked on. When I started
doing nails, many moons ago, tips were new and not very good. They yellowed and
got dried out and shattered when you shortened the nails, so, I learned how to
sculpt right out of the gait. There were no alternatives, sculpt or die. So, of
course, I am faster sculpting than tips with overlay.

Thank the nail gods that tips have come a L O N G way since the 80's.

You may always be faster with tips than sculpting since you learned tips first,
who knows? I do think that it is a good idea to be proficient with all
techniques so you can customize the service to each client.

Tammy is a great instructor. She taught me everything I know! Well, I've
learned
a few things on my own and from other instructors, but, I still credit Tammy
for
my continued success.

If I hear about a TT class in the STL area, I'll post it and I'd appreciate it
if you would do the same. With any luck, I'll see you at a TT class this year!

I use TT acrylic only. I want to sculpt nails. I use tips but I know I could
save time by sculpting. I have the video but I like taking the classes. There
is a class in our area (first one in a long time) but I'm out of town on that
date. I would drive to St. Louis if it's on a day that I can.
