There are three RPMS to do with samba
samba-common samba-client samba-server To share with Windows mahines you need samba-common and samba-server To mount remote shares on Win machine you need samba-client as well. Use software manager in Mandrake Conrrol Centre to install the RPMS. You are not finished then. It is still necessary to configure Samba to set WorkGroup name, and to define Samba passwords (they are different to Linux passwords) This will help you out :- http://www.mandrakeuser.org/docs/connect/csamba.html derek On Wednesday 16 Oct 2002 6:55 am, Ted Manka wrote: > HI all!
