OK - I looked it up. It looks very approachable. Is PostgreSQL a better choice than MySQL, do you think?For personal database, it is a better choice because pgaccess is easier to use than web-based phpMySQLadmin.
For server use, PostgreSQL has many features that MySQL does not, such as triggers and stored procedures.
Both databases have good documentation and the speed is similar, although MySQL is probably somewhat faster.
