Gee I thought Att Students used Imacs?
It's Brit-speak. When we say "art students" we mean "art students", but when we say "arts students", we mean "humanities students".
I think it's funny that the students most likely to break an operating system are given the one which is easiest to break. I might trust a computer science student with Windows, but not an Eng. Lit. student ;-)
