Try disabling supermount, then run Kwikdisk (not kwickdisk), which is a GUI FS mounting tool. It runs in the panel. Simply right click on the icon and then left click on the partition/device you want mounted. Easy Peasy.

Uh no, what does it do? I read another msg in the newbie archives, seems I left out a command, after supermount -i disable, I needed to enter mount -a. Did that, still the same. Someone quite awhile ago helped me with this but I can't remember who.
