Hi Hoyt, Search domain means that if you're typing a non FQDN, it will append the domain name you specify in /etc/resolv.conf. For example, if you set "search mydomain.com", then when you type "mypc" in a browser, it will actually look for "mypc.mydomain.com" If you don't have a local domain, you don't need to specify the "search..." line in /etc/resolv.conf Your problem seems to be in the name server 192.168.0.1 - -- Fajar Priyanto | Reg'd Linux User #327841 | http://linux.arinet.org 18:41:52 up 10:33, Mandrake Linux release 9.2 (FiveStar) for i586 public key: https://www.arinet.org/fajar-pub.key -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFA4VY7kp5CsIXuxqURArKKAJ9FPbkV1oaZX5Cr8lfKajGbzzii5wCfY2VG TqsxuVz/J85Mn8ivuodnDvs= =S8UB -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
