[newbie] install problem

Hello;   I asked this quiestion before but nobody helped ... :(   I seem to be having trouble installing Mandrake 7.0, because it always crashes when it's loading the second stage ramdisk. Any ideas, tips? Help is greatly appreciated, since I'm clueless at this point...
