Hey all,

I am running mandrake 7.0.. and gotten everything installed.. I am dual
booting between win98 and linux.
I decided to get my quake II game running on the linux side... so I linked
/usr/local/games/quake2\base2q to the windows partition. so that seems to
work I then the quake2 binaries.. and the 3dfx binaries.. all works well
(except I can only get my 3dfx to work while I am root) that I know is a
permissions problems... but the only Thing I can't get working is the
mouse.. I have a microsoft mouse with scroll wheel.
I have modified the libvga.conf in the /etc/vga/ folder .. and have tried
the settings for microsoft,PS/2, Intellimouse..

I also have run the XF86Setup.. and played with the different mice settings
there...even playing with the settings there I noticed the scroll wheel
didn't register..
Does anyone have a mouse with a scroll wheel working?.. is it a setup driver
or setup I need to run?
Also when modifing the libvga.conf... do I have to reboot linux for that to
take effect I am still unsure of how linux handles start up and config
files..

Thanks
David
