I used to use windows before I knew of Linux,
and I would call my isp like maybe 2 to 3
times a week to ask for help what to
do, like when windows would foul up
or something, and then one day
when I was on the phone with tech
my isp's tech support, I just out of
the grey said "I wish there was like
this version of Unix that would run
on an Intel based system----"
Much to my pleasant surprise,
there WAS!! I started out on
Slackware, then decided I needed
some Ultra-Highend graphics, so I
went to SuSE, then I wanted sound too
so I went to RedHat, and finally I
wanted KDE desktop and stuff without
having to download all those files so
I finally got Mandrake, and here I am,
with the O/S and dist of my choice,
I just have chosen personally to not
use Windows because I expected
more of it than it could give me,
so I had to make the choice to use
Linux instead.

Sorry if I wasted any bandwidth,
please forgive me.
