Hey, y'all...new to Linux and this list, but not to computing. Quick question: regardless of the user I'm logged in as (root, for instance), clicking Linuxconf in DrakConf greys it out for a split second before returning to it's normal state. All the other options in DrakConf work just fine... Running linuxconf/userconf at the command line works fine (though it's pretty clumsy). I'd much rather use the GUI tools from what I've been surprised to find is a great GUI desktop (KDE--system was installed from the "Server" packages, which I customized a little).
