Thanks for the help with the last part of my question. Is there anyone out there who can tell me where KNOPPIX saves stuff to? I noticed that it creates a phd1- which seems to be all the files that are on my HD including the ones that Windows created. I also noticed that it creates a RAM file of some sort and it saves stuff to there as you create it, however, I don't know where it goes after that. I'm probably all wrong though, so I guess my question is how does KNOPPIX work and will the files that I create and save still be there when I log back into it or what??
