The BYU CS Department provides Red Hat 8.0 CDs for a small fee ($3). You get
these CDs through the department secretaries on the third floor of the
Talmage Building. The other CDs (such as SSS and Knoppix) are provided
through the UUG, and the CS Department system administrators really shouldn't
burn CD's for the club while they are supposed to be working. It would be
better if you were to download what you needed off of the web.
Knoppix has lots of good development tools. You can get information on
exactly what at these sites:
        www.knopper.net/knoppix/
        www.knoppix.org
        www.knoppix.net
Before you give up on the German, click on the British flag near the top so
that you can see the page in English.
