My guess is that both need a kernel with 8k stacks, which the default FC4
kernel doesn't have. I've looked for a pre-build kernel RPM for FC4 that
works with ndiswrapper but haven't managed to find one yet, and I have
absolutely no desire to compile my own kernel (neither the tarball way or
the FC4 SRPM way) so I'm left without wireless support under Linux for the
present. C'est la vie!
