Location-Department/Room#-MachineSerialnumber Two character location dash 4 character department/room# dash 7 character serial number (padded with zeros or just the last 7 digits as necessary). Using locations helps us when viewing accounts in AD to determine where a computer account should live (for .msi software installations).
