Yeah the console is a little tough, at first I was very confused and didn't think I was going to get it, once I figured out the power of the XML config files and the filtering to create groups and apply configs to them I was very pleased, plus the speed is outstanding on the console, With SEP 11 I would click on an option and wait 30-60 secs for a response.
We also had a pretty good reseller and their team was top notch in answering questions and helping us with the config. For example, I created groups, but then couldn't do anything with them - no right click options, no properties or settings. My top three requirements would be: 1) Excellent threat detection record and frequent updates to threat definitions. 2) Good admin interface with easy and reliable remote installs. 3) Good deep scanning ability of clients with a real-time scan that doesn't hog resources.
