Hi Guys
Got back to the office after being out all day to see squillions of "Specs for 
Development Machine" messages  8-)
Pity the thread went off the rails part way down the track  -  but thanks very much to 
those who had suggestions.

BTW  what are people using as backup media these days?  My regular back up is a 
a bit over a Gig and I have been stacking them up on a couple of removable 6 Gig 
hard drives.  I loke the idea of being able to directly access backups, without having 
to restore them.  Is there now a better option?
