One of the things they (Mozilla) pride themselves on is standards compliance, and sometimes that leads to apparent problems. I've seen illegal html display apparently correctly under IE that Firefox quite correctly scrambles. There is the somewhat tricky decision of whether to make it work correctly, and fail these sites, or incorrectly and work. So far FF has been stable for me, but I need the 'Display in IE' extension that fires up IE for some sites that just don't work on FF.

Hi all.

Has anyone used or experimented with firefox as a browser? Im just
curious about it and its workings, does it derive all its internet
settings from internet explorer like avant browser or is it
completely self contained like opera?

Self contained. I like tabbed browsing and the small install size. Apart
from that, it's a little buggy. Definitely not as stable as Internet
Explorer (shudder..)
