Well, he was calling you a liar, basicly.  Then he explained why.  Maybe the
word Bullshit stopped you from reading the rest of his statement, which
noted that good product was going to help the community out regardless of
any open/closed considerations.  THAT was the key there.  (Something a lot
of us have stated, which you've ignored.)

The rest of this particular post seemed to be more of a "should someone sell
product" debate, which is not really what we're talking about.  That's
probably why you didn't understand what he was getting at.  Since the
discussion is open vs. closed, and he made reference to paid vs. free.
