Well, assuming you've reached a level of stability, you work on buidling commitments
to and from your customers. Maybe later you start expanding again--but "expand,
expand, expand" is a death sentence for most buisnesses. (I wonder how many
buisness have died from over-expanding...)

Contribute: to release part of one's own work as OGC.

Community: another name for the "network" that Ryan talks about which is behind each
and every RPG.

MOST gamers will pick up something, take one look at it, and say "Hey, this is just
like Guns & Kni!" when something is so obviously derivitive. And if something ISN'T
derivitive, then it ain't an OGL concern.

Sure it will. It won't happen as smoothly or as often, but it will happen.

[insert mandatory jibe] "Oh, you mean the gamers."

Hoody hoo! If we're going to be flaming each other....

"Communism should have waited until the development of electronic credit cards."

"Hitler was a genius."

"Evoluion should be taught as scientific law, not historical theory."

"Gygax is a celebrety with a rabid fanboy following, despite a rarity of recent
contribuions."

"WotC is motivated by money!."

(If you're gonna use sarcasm, why hold back?)
